My Inseparable Twin

My inseparable twin has joined me again on this bright June day, but I don’t know if I should rejoice or recoil at his sight; he seems flat today, entirely without affect, without a sign he recognizes me from last time.

For now, I will put on a friendly face but be on my guard.
