Destiny

painted over page of text with a few suggestions of eyes that is revealed to say destiny that surrounds us peering out to catch the light

Source notes: "Some of my source materials for this visual poems series come from my neighborhood Little Free Library. I pick up books that are least loved (have been sitting there forever) or visibly damaged. 'Destiny,' was from a young adult book that was recycled a while ago. I do recall it was a story about a dog & family, sorta a Lassie story."
